Small animal physiotherapy can span from large dogs to rabbits, from healthy animals that would enjoy a massage to post-surgical cases that require physiotherapy to help them get back to full function.

INTRODUCTION
To begin with, we have a chat about your animals history, symptoms and current concerns you may have. This is a great time for your animal to get to know me and for me to get to know them before the treatment begins!

DYNAMIC ASSESSMENT
I will then assess your animals movement, analysing each step for lameness, pain and asymmetry.

STATIC ASSESSMENT
Following on from the dynamic assessment, I will assess the condition of the musculoskeletal system. Through drawing together findings from the dynamic and static assessments, we can localise areas that require attention for improved comfort.

TREATMENT
Findings from the static and dynamic assessment are drawn together in order to create a bespoke treatment plan to effectively decrease pain, improve suppleness and promote comfort. This can vary from massage to stretches to kinesiology taping.

DISCUSSION
To conclude, we will discuss what has been achieved through the treatment and how this will benefit your animals health, posture and well-being. Drawing together dynamic observations, static findings and tissue feedback from treatment, I will create a bespoke rehabilitation plan for your animal that will include specific exercises to promote the effects of treatment.
All patients and clients are accessible to extensive support and after-care services following treatment. If you are struggling with a particular exercise, need some advice following a change in symptoms or simply just need someone to talk to through the rehabilitation process, I am at the end of a call or message.
